Becky who accompanied by her pet monkey and mentor Bob along with her cousins Donna and Debi Moreno arrive at the home of the Botsfords. Becky says to her cousins "Do you believe the nerve of Tobey? Claiming that Alan Scott could be his great grandfather? I wonder who Alan is?" Donna says "Becky my sister and I cannot prove it beyond reasonable doubt but my dad Ronnie told us that he believes that Alan Scott could have been one of the original Green Lanterns." Bob then asks Becky "What is a Green Lantern?" Becky says "Green Lantern is a super hero who fights crime with the Justice League which is located in New York City." Bob then says to Becky "Thanks partner." Then Tim Botsford who adopted Becky when she was an infant from her spaceship hideout 13 years ago and along with his spouse Sally raised Becky and her younger sibling T J came to the front door to greet the kids. Tim says "Hello Becky, Bob and the Moreno twins. How are you feeling right now?" Becky says "Dad my friends are going to help me find a book that I need to return to the library so I can collect the new Princess Trianna books." Tim says to the kids "Okay Moreno twins, Becky and Bob you are free to search Becky's bedroom to see if you locate the missing book. Donna and Debi say in unison "Thank you Mister Botsford." Tim replies to the twins by saying to them "Just call me Tim. Come in." Then the foursome enter the home and they arrive at Becky's bedroom and they see her bed as well as her television and her computer. Donna says "Okay Becky just tell us where to start finding the missing book so you can collect your prized possession." Debi then says "I do remember my sister and I having to rescue Word Girl when she was captured by Granny May when she opened a book club last year. (the book was loaded with Old Lady Perfume that kayoed Word Girl and Huggy) Of course Becky is not amused. (Granny's Book Club). Becky looks at Donna with a look of anger in her eyes and asks her "Can you just tell your younger sibling that Word Girl is trying to forget that incident. It is behind me." Donna and Debi then look at Becky's back and they say in unison "Funny thing. I do not see anything resembling the book that the elderly villain kayoed you with." Becky at this point is angry with her cousins and she tells them in a very cogent way "One more wise guy remark from you two and you will be seeking a new lead singer for your group this weekend at your mom's cafe." The twins then whisper to Becky "Sorry about that chief."  Then Donna says "Look what I found. A book about repairing computers." The book was located in her backpack which was underneath her bed. Becky then says "Thanks Donna. I owe you one." Donna says "Okay now that you have located that missing book you can go back to the library and check out the Princess Triana book collection that you covet." Debi says to Becky "Just in case you decided to leave Becky And The Raiders our backup plan was to work with Violet Heaslip.(Rhyme and Reason) When she blew her lid that she found out that Word Girl and Becky are the same person we were shocked that she treat you the way she did. Good thing you two are friends once again." Becky says to her cousins "I guess Bob was right when I wanted to tell Violet Becky and Word Girl are the same person he told me to keep quiet." She hugs Bob her monkey who says "I know how to protect my partner." Becky then decides to go the library to return the book with her cousins so they can check out the latest super hero magazines. What they do not is that Mrs Dewey has a special guest in the library who will be defending Tobey's honor that he did not steal Becky's book. More to come. I do not own the characters of Word Girl.

Very nuanced piece of work here, my friend. This is definitely even, dare I say, publishable. You and I are writing for these that are our times.
