Bonkers For Bingo Chapter 5

Word Girl and her partner Captain Huggyface flew to her parents home a little sad that the people of Fair City had turned on her because she had no proof that Granny May was cheating at bingo. When she arrived and Huggy arrived at her parents home she was greeted by Donna and Debi Moreno who were dressed in their regular clothing instead of their singing costumes. Word Girl was glad to see them. She does not change back to Becky yet. Word Girl: "Hello Moreno twins do you want my autograph?" Donna: "Word Girl we are happy to see you once again. Can we have a quick chat with you?" Debi: "We will pass on the autograph this time. Thanks for asking us though." Word Girl: "Of course. What is on your mind?" Donna: "My sister and I and our classmate Violet Heaslip saw the injustice of the crowd at City Hall when Granny May was accused of cheating on bingo games." Debi: "We came to cheer you up." Word Girl: "Okay do your duty and cheer me up. If you can." Donna does a face palm since "Beat me if you can" is the catch phrase of her mother Jacqueline Moreno who wrestles as the heel wrestler The Lady Raider. Debi: "Word Girl if you want to beat Granny May and expose her as a cheater playing bingo, my sister and I have a suggestion." Word Girl: "Bring it on."  Donna: "Why don't you and Captain Huggyface sign up for the bingo hall tournament? You can compete for the charity of building a new playground at Woodview Elementary. (Remember the playground that was built by the parts of Tobey's robots?) Word Girl: "Excellent idea Donna. As an added bonus I will contact my cousins the Isthmus Sisters for moral support as well as Huggy." Debi: "Of course. There is strength in numbers. When can this assignment be completed?" Word Girl: "You two contact my cousins and meet me at City Hall around one hour. Huggy and I want to expose Granny May as a cheater in bingo. I doubt that she will use any of her dirty tricks like the perfume attacks or balls of yarn on us in front of her fans." Donna: "If she does do any dirty tricks, then Green Arrow is a wimp." Word Girl: "Green Arrow is not a wimp. He is a pretty tough guy." Debi: "My sister and I know that for a fact. Don't mess with a super hero who wears a mask and uses arrows as his weapon. I understand he was disappointed he was not invited to that movie about the young lady who uses arrows as a weapon." Huggyface: "The movie is called 'The Hunger Games' Green Arrow a movie star? Give us a break." Word Girl: "Is the coast clear?" Donna and Debi speaking together "Yes it is. We shall be contacting the Isthmus Sisters to meet you and Huggy at the Bingo Hall in one hour. Adios amiga." Word Girl: "Goodbye sisters. My oh my. Your Spanish words are so soothing to me." The sisters leave the area as Word Girl and Huggy turn back to being Becky and Bob and get inside their house. The sisters go back to their house. In the meantime back at the Bingo Hall Granny May has become the new hero in Fair City. She continues to win bingo games and remains undefeated with the use of her lucky duck. Granny: "My plan is working to a T. The people love me. Winning this charity tournament will be a cinch. There is nothing that spoiled brat can do to beat me. Ha ha ha. I am so bad I have these people in my back pocket." More to come. I do not own the characters of Word Girl, Hunger Games or Green Arrow.
