Becky her pet monkey Bob, and her younger brother T J as well as their next door neighbors the Moreno twins went home on the school bus after the day at school was finished. When they got off the school bus they said goodbye to each other. Becky: "Donna and Debi thank you for the invitation to the baseball game. Meet you and your parents at Fair City Park this evening?" Donna: "Yes. My parents will escort your family to the stadium. You will be so happy to see our home team try to beat the Buccaneers in the last game of the regular season. Don't forget Bampy will be there." Debi: "Donna so will pops. He will be also in the pregame ceremony as well." Becky goes inside her home along with her younger brother T J. Tim greets his children when they enter the house. Tim: "Becky and T J. Bampy has invited us to attend the baseball game at Fair City Park tonight. I hope you have no problem spending some quality time with myself and your mother." Becky: "Dad I look forward to seeing the baseball tonight. I am so disappointed that Katy did not invite me to her birthday party." Tim: "Becky I am sure Katy has her reason why she did not invite you to her birthday party. Seeing your grandfather throw out the first pitch along with Coach Moreno should cheer us up. Even though the local team will not make the playoffs this year. They had a great season." Becky, T J, Bob and Sally all agree. Even though their daughter was not invited to a birthday party, a baseball game would cheer them all up. Bampy: "Hello my grandchildren. Did I ever tell you the time that I was Ronnie Moreno's pitching coach when he pitched for the Rochester Nighthawks? He was a character player. He could throw a baseball so hard at home plate I thought he was an alien from another planet like Word Girl." Becky: "Maybe that is why he never did play in the Major Leagues after his rookie season." Bampy: "No Becky. The reason Ronnie did not pitch in the Major Leagues was due to the fact that he wanted to spend more time with his children and his spouse. He told me the life of a baseball player is lonely without his relatives. I believe he made the right decision to come to Fair City and be a physical education teacher at Woodview Elementary. I heard that you kids admire him for his sharp wit during physical education class." Becky: "Bampy. That is true. Coach Moreno always tells us 'Dictionary is the only place that success comes before work. Hard work is the price you pay for success. I think you can accomplish anything if you're willing to pay the price.' I was impressed with those comments. I take it to heart in my everything I do at Woodview." Tim: "Just like the Moreno twins. They are very good singers at some of the restaurants in Fair City. Donna sings like an angel, Debi plays a pretty nice trumpet as well." Bampy: "Well kids we have to get ready to go to the ballgame. I look forward to throwing the first pitch of the game along with Ronnie." In the meantime Tobey McAllister III is at his home with his mother Claire. They also have been invited to the baseball game to watch the pregame ceremony and to watch the Moreno twins sing The Star Spangled Banner at Fair City Park. Tobey: "Mom, maybe by going to the baseball stadium I will feel better that Katy did not invite me to their her birthday party tonight." Claire: "Tobey I know you are angry that Bampy defeated your robot when he had Word Girl at his mercy. (The show that introduced Bampy Botsford) But Bampy was one of the best relief pitchers the Fair City Patriots ever had when I was your age. He was nicknamed 'The Rocket' because his blazing fastball was clocked at 100 miles per hour. It will be a pleasure to see my dreamboat again even though it is just a pregame ceremony since 40 years ago the Patriots won the World Series and Bampy was voted the Most Valuable Player of that series. Promise me you will not bring out your robots to attract Word Girl's attention. If you fail me you will not be allowed to go to the Isthmus Cafe to listen to the Moreno twins sing their songs "Living Again", "Hooked On A Feeling" and "Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head." for one week. Are we clear on that young man?" Tobey: "Yes mom. No robots attacks tonight. I am still bitter that Bampy saved Word Girl from my invincible robot." Claire: "Do not forget this for a fact Tobey. Word Girl has those ahem Bad Girls Of the Isthmus on her team now. I understand Donna Isthmus likes you a lot." (Don't panic Tobecky fans Donna is just acting to get his attention) Tobey: "Donna likes me more than Word Girl? That's a good one." (It is a case of be careful what you wish for.) More to come. I do not own the characters of Word Girl. Next: "Take them to the ballgame."

She cheers for her you idiot. Got a problem?
It makes me laugh that former National Basketball Association (NBA) basketball player Stephen Jackson now has this thought that he is actor Michael Pakati (RIP) who played the role of Nicolai Koloff from Rocky IV when he went to the corner of Russian boxer Ivan Drago in the final round of boxing against American boxer Rocky Balboa in Moscow when the locals were cheering for the American boxer. How does Stephen fit the role of Nicolai? He claims that Gayle King who is Black is cheering for Indiana Fever basketball rookie Caitlyn Clark who is White. Say what Stephen? Gayle is an idiot for rooting for the enemy race? Que pasa? I like female wrestler Cami Fields who is a minority wrestler who looks very attractive wearing white leotards when she is working in the independent circuit as either a heel or face wrestler. Got a problem with that? Even though female professional wrestler Alex Gracia is a native of San Antonio Texas and she is a Spurs basketball fan, I do not insult her over
Hail to the Fighting Tigers.
This past weekend in Fort Worth Texas for the first time in the 33 years of college gymnastics history the Lady Fighting Tigers of Louisiana State University won their first NCAA Women's Gymnastics championship in team history which is an amazing feat since that old saying "Next year's champions." or "Wait until next year" is now over. I can see it now Panamanian gymnast Hillary Heron would say from her Gymnast Cave in Panama City Panama "The Tigers have now call themselves real champions." while the song from "Rocky IV" called "The Sweetest Victory" plays. Okay I realize that not many kids of this generation remember the movie "Rocky IV" when American boxer Rocky Balboa traveled to Moscow in the former Soviet Union to battle the Siberian Express Ivan Drago and won by knockout in the 15th round which gained the admiration of Russian boxing fans or the soundtrack of the movie. Nevertheless the memories of winning the first gymnastics championship in the history of the university will
Do not ask stupid questions
A vlogger from south Louisiana is wondering why the news media will not embrace Caitlyn Clark to join the Women's National Basketball Association since anyone can see that Caitlyn is a gold mine in terms of making the league a success like Larry Bird, Earvin "Magic" Johnson and Michael J Jordan made the National Basketball Association a success in their time period since Outkick which is run by Clay Travis was banned by the powers that be from covering the WNBA Draft recently. Gee whiz WNBA have you commoners ever heard of the Mafia saying "A soldier keeps his friends close and his enemies even closer." Just because the employees at Outkick are not members of the sports media that will bow down to the feet of the players of the league it is the right of the media to report the news of sports events as they see fit even if I disagree with their views. Like myself I get in trouble on social media just for saying that so and so is the best person or character on their profession in
All you need is love.
I am being sarcastic with this since it appears that even though I am not the greatest fan of some sports stars that the late professional wrestling personality "Playboy" Gary Hart (1942-2008) would call someone like Caitlyn Clark if she was a professional wrestling star instead of a basketball player in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) an "Overpublicized Prima Donna" even though the former University of Iowa basketball star seems to be a female version of musical artist Paula Abdul (Forever Your Girl) fame in terms of being the girl next door image and personality. I was not around when the late Jackie Robinson (1919-1972) played in the Major Leagues in the mid 1940s when he faced racial hatred from irate fans when he played baseball for the Brooklyn Dodgers from 1947-1956. It appears that Caitlyn will be facing the wrath of basketball sportswriters or I as call them Carlos Villagran knockoffs since Carlos was a journalist like the late Mexican comedian Roberto
