Seymour Smooth Game Show Host Ch. 3

Sally Botsford, her daughter Becky and her pet monkey Bob said goodbye to her husband Tim Botsford who due to stage fright was not able to attend the taping of the show "Win A Shiny New Car"  which would be taped before a live audience in Fair City. The show would be telecast on a tape delay basis a week later. Tim receives a phone call from his next door neighbor Ronnie Moreno who tells Tim "Hello Tim this is Ronnie Moreno. You would not mind coming over to my home and have a few soft drinks together so I can tell you some baseball stories?" Tim says to Ronnie "Sure Coach Moreno. My pleasure. My wife and my daughter are going to the television studio to participate in the game show called 'Win A Shiny New Car.' I would love to hear some baseball stories from you. I will be right over." Ronnie says to Tim "Tim I am not in gym class. Just call me Ronnie anytime. See you soon." Ronnie hangs up the phone and thinks to himself "And people say that during football season women are football widows. Go figure." Sally drives her auto with her daughter Becky and her pet monkey Bob to the television studio in Fair City to star in the game show. They arrive at the studio after they park their auto in the contestants row. They are greeted by an usher at the door who guides the trio to the studio where they will be competing against the two brothers of the host Seymour O Smooth. Bob the monkey is placed inside a waiting room so he can watch the taping from a television inside the room. Becky says goodbye to her best friend and mentor as she and her mom are introduced by the television announcer that Seymour Smooth is hosting the top rated television show in Fair City. Seymour walks toward Sally and Becky as he asks the duo if they are elated to be on his game show. Sally says "Of course I am elated to be on your show." Becky has a look of anger in her face as Seymour asks her the same question. Becky answers the question by Seymour by saying to him "Of course I am elated to be on your game show. We plan to end the winning streak of our opponents." (Thinking) "Of course as my mentor Lady Raider says 'It's not cheating if you are not caught. If Word Girl and Huggy are needed to get an answer that Seymour asks us, then two can play the game. If and when we win that new car, the couple that were robbed of winning will get the auto. Sorry mom." Then Seymour introduces the current champions who have won the contests for a long time. The duo wave to the audience as they are cheered. Seymour then asks Sally about a huge building in New Orleans that hosts entertainment shows like football, concerts and other events." Sally yelling "It is the Mercedes Benz Superdome." Seymour says to Sally "I did not finish asking you the question. The question is how tall is the Mercedes Benz Superdome. You have one minute to answer the question. The clock is running." Then Becky uses her wits to try to get away from the studio to get the answer Becky says "Seymour, uh I need to step outside and clear my head." Seymour then asks Becky "You are not going to look up the answer in a book are you? It would be considered cheating." Becky thinking "Tell me about it. You did cheat a couple of winning an auto. Payback is coming buddy. Just watch." Speaking "Ha ha. No I do not plan to look it up in a telephone book." Seymour says to Becky "Okay but what good will it do? Unless you are Word Girl. I will grant you a chance. Go ahead." Becky then leaves the studio and picks up her pet monkey Bob from the waiting room and she takes him away from the television monitor and she tells her mentor "This is a job for Word Girl and Captain Huggyface. New Orleans here we come. WORD UP!" The duo change into their super heroes selves as they are flying toward New Orleans to find out the height of the Mercedes Benz Superdome.
