The Interview With Todd Ming Chapter 5

Word Girl her pet monkey Captain Huggyface and her cousins Donna and Debi Isthmus were sitting next to their mentor The Lady Raider who were sitting to her right side. Next to the masked heel wrestler on her left side was Dr Two Brains and his henchmen Charlie and Zack. They were inside the Manuel Amador Studio in Colonial Fair City which is the historical section of Fair City. Todd Ming who is the host of his own talk show had the pleasure of interviewing both the heroes and villains on Fair City. Todd tells Word Girl "I remember the last time that I had the pleasure of interviewing you when Dr Two Brains and his henchmen were offended by your remarks about your battles with him." Lady Raider says "Tell me about it. I do offend a lot of people in the Fair City Arena by calling them cretins when I ask the fans who is a better wrestler than myself. They all answer 'Everyone.'" Word Girl and her mates as well as Dr Two Brains and his henchmen share a good laugh along with Todd. Todd says "If the wrestling boot fits you. I do not feel sorry for you Lady Raider." Lady Raider says "Todd in my of all years in the squared circle, I have never crashed your show. Am I correct?" Todd says to Lady Raider with a smile on his face "You are correct. In fact I am one of your greatest fans since you do answer all of my questions without being mean spirited to me." Then Todd asks Word Girl "Do you mind if we show on the television monitor what happened in your battle with Granny May and her grandson The Junior Hulk I mean Eugene?" Word Girl says with a grin on her face "Go ahead show our best guest and villain Dr Two Brains what happened to yours truly and my mentor Captain Huggyface." Then the studio monitor shows the scene when Word Girl and Huggy entered Reginald's Jewelry Shop as Granny May and her grandson were robbing his store. Reginald screaming as Eugene grabbed him by his waist  "You can have the jewels. Please do not harm me." Then the video stops as Donna Isthmus said "At that point Word Girl and Huggy told us to stay back outside. They wanted to stop Granny and Eugene from robbing the store without our help." Word Girl said to her cousin who are younger than her by three months in Earth years  "What did you me want to do? Give you the starting hero job in Fair City when you and your younger sibling did not show me and Huggy what your powers were?" Donna gets off of her chair and walks toward her cousin as she points a finger in Word Girl's face and tells her in a harsh voice "Word Girl. We had no time to show off our powers to you when we first met. Now calm down. This is not the Bronx Zoo." Todd says "The Bronx Zoo is New York City Donna." Donna then says to Todd "Of course Todd. What I meant to say is that despite the fact we are cousins, we do from time to time engage in petty battles. Nothing serious. Just venting my anger at her for her errors in crime fighting." Word Girl gets off her seat and tells Donna in her eyes saying a calm tone of voice "Look who is talking. The daughter of a famous detective. I suppose you and your twin sisters are perfect crime fighters?" Donna replies to Word Girl "Cool you jets Word Girl. Making errors is part of becoming a better hero. Can you and I shake hands and forget our troubles for the rest of the show?" Word Girl says "No problem. Let us shake hands and tell the rest of this story." Donna then shakes hands with Word Girl but our hero did not know that Donna had a joy buzzer attached to her hand when they shook hands Word Girl then yells as a small wave of shock waves cover her "Ouch! Are you trying to barbecue me now?" Everyone in the audience laughs at what Word Girl said as she calms down. Donna said to her cousin "Sorry Word Girl I bought that joy buzzer from Hal Hardbargain Villain and Hero Shop. I hope you are not sore with me." Word Girl said to her cousin "No I was not offended by your joy buzzer gimmick." Debi says to Word Girl "You should see my gimmick. It is called the flower of laughter. It is in my lapel located on my costume. The fumes that come out of it make my opponent laugh. We are the not The Bad Girls Of The Isthmus for nothing." (Okay the twins are closet Joker fans) Huggy asks the twins "How much do you charge for being cheap imitations of villains?" Todd Ming then says "We will return after these commercial message from our sponsor Mr. Big Enterprises." More to come. I do not own the characters of Word Girl.
